Bord Bia Guide to Starting a Premium Drinks Business In Ireland

Bord Bia Guide to Starting a Premium Drinks Business In Ireland

Earlier today, I attended the launch of a new E-Book Guide to starting your own Premium Drinks Business in Ireland at the Johnstown Hotel and Conference Centre in Enfield Co Meath.

The 186 page E-Book  has been commissioned by An Bord Bia, the Irish Food Export Board and is aimed at anyone considering getting involved in establishing an Craft Beer, Craft Spirits or Irish Whiskey Business.Bord Bia Starting a Premium Drinks Business in Ireland.

After a quick read through tonight, my initial impression is of a very slick and professional presentation that ticks all the right boxes. Although aimed at someone with no previous business experience or even brewing or distilling experience, it is still an absorbing read for those of us who are already experienced in or working in the Irish Drinks sector.

After an introduction to both general business and sector specific business advice and practices, the book offers a huge amount of information on drinks-sector specific support tools and agencies in Ireland and abroad.

The book then takes you on a step by step journey using an interactive “Road Map” in an intuitive and easy to follow way from Pre-Trading through Trading and finally scaling your Premium Drinks Business in Ireland and abroad.
